Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
The personal identifiable information (PII) collected on this site are:
- For the connection request: IP address, date, time and pages consulted, technical information on response times (through cookies),
- For contact forms: e-mail (e-mail address)
These PII are processed by the data controller concerned and the person responsible for publishing the site as mentioned in the legal notice of the said site.
These PII are mandatory for the proper functioning of the website with:
- Information relating to cookies;
- If you fill in the contact form, all the PIIs linked to the information on this form.
The purpose of the PII is the proper functioning of the website, the measurement of the audience, the treatment of incidents on the response times.
The legal basis for this data processing is the execution of the public interest mission.
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 as amended, reinforced and completed by the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) which came into force on 25 May 2018, the Ethics in Common INRAE-Cirad-Ifremer-IRD Committee, as the data controller, guarantees respect for the privacy of the website's users of the website.
The sole purpose of the PIIs collected in the contact form is to facilitate the Committee's mission of discussion with interested parties on subjects concerning ethics, and only within the framework of exchanges made via this site. The PIIs are only read by the committee's secretariat and are intended to send you a reply; the messages are made anonymous by the secretariat before being transmitted to the ethics committee. No data is used outside this framework. No message linked to a PII is transmitted to a third party. No personal data is transferred outside the EU.
Furthermore, in the context of discussions on current referrals, the contact form provides for a request for consent or not to allow the committee to quote your request or comment anonymously in its public response letter.
Length of retention of PIIs:
PIIs are kept for 5 years from the date the form is sent. After this retention period, the PII will be destroyed.
Data security:
You have a right of access, rectification, opposition on legitimate grounds, limitation and deletion in relation to the whole. You can exercise these rights by sending an e-mail to the following address: contact@ethique-en-commun.org.

Publication rules
The publications of the user are published under his or her full and entire responsibility. You formally undertake to respect the legal and regulatory provisions in force and, without this list being exhaustive, you therefore refrain from publishing:

- Content contrary to the rules and practices of your employer or inherent to your functions, such as failure to respect the obligation of neutrality, the duty of professional discretion, or any obligation of confidentiality to which you may be bound;

- Content whose purpose is to disseminate commercial, advertising or promotional messages or propaganda for products or services;

Responsibility of the Ethics in Common Committee
Availability of the site. Unless otherwise provided for by law, the Ethics in Common INRAE-Cirad-Ifremer-IRD Committee does not guarantee the availability of the site or the permanence of the information on the site.
